Do You Have Type 2 Diabetes?*

 
Would you like to be part of a clinical trial for people with Type 2 diabetes? 

  

A Clinical Trial investigating a possible new treatment for Type 2 Diabetes is commencing early in 2014 at the University of Queensland in St Lucia, Brisbane.

 

We are seeking men and women aged between 18 and 60 with diagnosed Type 2 diabetes to participate in this research. 

 

Participating in a clinical trial may be of benefit to you as well as to others who suffer from this condition. 

 

  

We would like to talk to you if:

 

You have been diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes and:

 

  • Are aged between 18 and 60
  • Are free of serious diabetic complications that affect your vision, your kidneys or sensation in your limbs
  •  Not taking medication for any other major illness
  •  Don't require insulin on a regular basis
  •  Can attend the University of Queensland Research Laboratory at St Lucia on 2 occasions a week apart.
  • Are prepared to take plant-based capsules twice daily for the 7days of the trial.
